Ten years ago, not a single Nantucket municipal employee earned more than $100,000 a year. In fact, only three were paid more than $80,000.


A decade later, 47 town employees earn over $100,000. In an illustrative example of the pay increases that have occurred over that time period, an municipal employee who earned $50,000 in 1998 has since doubled their pay to an even $100,000, according to the most recent town report.     Read More
